I've designed some fun free patterns so you can dress your dolls for Halloween!
They are really easy to make so your dolls can make the perfect Halloween decoration or Trick or Treating accessory
This witch's hat fits the original-size lamb, bunny or floppy eared dogs the best, but can be worn by other animals. It's made from felt and quick and is quick and easy to make. I've paired my hat with the shirt, shoes and socks from the elephant pattern and the tutu from the ballerina pattern.
My bunny witch is wearing the party dress from the Pattern Hacks Guide and the shoes and socks from the elephant pattern
This fun pumpkin face template can be used to turn your original- size doll's clothes into a fun Halloween costume. I've used the pinafore from the Pattern Hacks Guide for my dog and paired it with the shoes, socks and shirt from the elephant pattern and the headband from the bear pattern
Another fun freebie is this ghost template that you can add to the front of the elephant shirt to make a cute Halloween outfit
All of these Halloween freebies are available in the Studio Seren customer Facebook group. Everyone who orders one of my doll sewing patterns is invited to join the group. It is a friendly and supportive community where you can watch video demonstrations, find lots of extra resources to support your doll-making journey, ask questions and see dolls made by people all over the world. We would love to see you there!
To find the Halloween patterns go to the homepage of the group and look in the FEATURED section in the FREEBIES post (there are a lots of other free patterns and resources here that I'm sure you'll love too!)
Another fun Halloween project is making a black cat with my cat sewing pattern. I've made this adorable black cat dress for mine made from the daisy sewing pattern
Halloween sew-along
The Halloween sew-along is running from now until Tuesday 29 October. To join in share a photo of a Halloween-themed doll made using any of my sewing patterns
I'll be sharing everyone's photos in my Instagram stories and when the sew-along is finished my daughter Seren will be choosing some of her favourites to feature on my website. She'll also be choosing one person to win a free sewing pattern!
You can share your photos by tagging me in a photo on Instagram, emailing it to patterns@studioseren.com or sharing it in the customer Facebook group
Lots of love and happy sewing!
