Maker of the Month - February and March

I love the amazing dolls you've been creating using my animal doll sewing patterns over the past couple of months! It's incredible to see how each doll looks unique despite being made from the same pattern. Your fabric choices and personal touches truly bring each doll to life

I feel so lucky that you share your beautiful creations with me. I love to showcase your photos in my Instagram stories and save them to the highlight folders on my profile page, where they serve as a source of inspiration for others

Every month, my daughter Seren, who is 11 years old, selects her favourite photo as her Maker of the Month. The lucky winner receives a free sewing pattern! It's been a busy time as we approach Easter, so I'm running a bit behind on things, but I'm thrilled to share the winners for both February and March in this post 

Since there are so many wonderful photos to choose from, Seren has selected a few of her favourites from each month. Keep reading to find out who she picked and to hear her thoughts on each creation!

February

 

Seren thought these wolf dolls that Nieves made looked peaceful and sweet

Seren really liked Maria's bear couple. She thought their overalls were really cute

Melissa's matching couple caught Seren's eye. She really liked how Melissa had used the same patterned fabric on both outfits and that it was a bunny print

Seren said that Amy's cat couple were adorable! 

Tessa's dog bought a big smile to Seren's face. She said he's got loads of personality 

 

Seren really liked the colours and fabrics that Meredith chose for her bear, especially the mushroom print overalls 

Seren said that Christy's bunny was adorable!

Seren loved everything about Lydia's cat. She said that the outfit was really nice and looked lovely with the colour of her body

Laura's bear couple was one of Seren's favourites. She thought they were so cute and loved that Laura had made them for her grandparents 

Seren liked that Elisabeth's dog looks really stylish and fashionable 

Seren said that Szilvia's cat is adorable 

Seren said that Kalmar's mouse is perfect. She loved the pink theme!

Susan's deer caught Seren's eye. She said she is really pretty 

Seren said that Nikki's fox is really cute and that she has a nice smile

 

March

Seren loved Bailey's dolls and the colours she had chosen for their dresses

Seren thinks Tessa's dolls are amazing and said that you can tell that someone put a lot of love and care into making them

Seren said Beline's bear has so much personality! She felt that it had a story to tell 

Seren loved Jo's lamb. She said she can't stop looking at it and smiling!  

Milica's wolf couple were a hit. Seren said their matching outfits were the cutest

 Seren said that Randi's bunny couple were adorable and that they looked like they would give really good cuddles! 

Seren really liked Brittany's deer. She said he has a really lovely face and looked like he was very well made 

Seren said Lydia's cat and dog were amazing. She really loved the dog's ears and thought the cat looked unique in those colours 

Ariane's bear made Seren go 'awwwwwwwww'! she loved her overalls and said they made her look especially cute!  

Seren is in love with Micheline's mouse. She said that the glasses were so cool and gave her tonnes of personality 

Seren was smitten with Lucy's kittens! She said they looked like so much fun 

Seren loved Irina's deer's pink nose. She said it made her look super cute  

Seren said that Misty's bear was a real character. She loved his ears and cute outfit

Krisztina's photo made Seren really happy. She said that they looked like they were made with lots of love

Seren fell in love with Alison's lamb. She said it had the sweetest outfit

Seren thought that Francine's fox was really cool and sassy

Seren was really impressed with the outfits that Katinka made for her dolls. She said they looked really beautiful together 

Seren said that June's deer looks adorable. She really liked the flowery waistcoat

Deanna's bunny couple were another favourite. Seren really liked the bunny girl's stripy dress

Seren loved Ann-Caroline's cat. She said that her face looked perfect and her dress was really lovely 

It's amazing to see how many dolls have been created using my animal doll sewing patterns in the past couple of months. I feel grateful for the community we have built together and for everyone who has shared their beautiful creations. Maker of the Month

Seren faced her usual challenge of selecting just one favourite for each month, and found it difficult to choose. She even suggested that everyone could win this time! However, she eventually managed to pick one for each month that caught her heart! 

Seren's Maker of the Month for February is Laura! Seren said "They are the cutest bear couple ever! I love that she made them for her granny and grandad!"

Seren's Maker of the Month for March is Micheline! Seren said "I love her mouse's outfit, especially the glasses. She looks really really cute!"

I will get in touch with Laura and Micheline so they can choose their free patterns! Congratulations ladies!

I always publish a blog post to announce the winners of my Maker of the Month or Sew Alongs before I reach out to the winners personally.
