Maker of the month - August

If you are looking for inspiration to make one of my animal doll sewing patterns, look no further! More people than ever were kind enough to share photos of their beautiful dolls made using my patterns in August. It was wonderful seeing so many bears, bunnies, dogs and cats being made all over the world. 

Each month I collate all of the photos that you share of the dolls you have made using my patterns. My daughter Seren, who is 11, gets the fun job of choosing one person to be crowned Maker of the Month. That person will receive their choice of one sewing pattern from my website. They can wait until I launch a new sewing pattern if they already have all of them. Read on to find out who she chose for August!

This little cutie is making the most of the sunshine. I love her summer outfit! She was made by Diane. She said "Wow! Emma is such a talented lady. After seeing so many of these gorgeous bunnies on Instagram I had to make my own. The instructions were easy to follow and I didn’t need to worry about the placement of the facial features because included was a template ( genius idea ). Can’t wait to make more characters and clothing."

My daughter seems to really like her birthday gift and I will absolutely come back one day to buy the pattern for the bunnies. Easy to follow and it leaves room for adding your own details, which is lovely."

Abbey made this sweet bunny for her daughter. Isn't she lucky? She said "This is the first review I’ve ever posted! Pattern was so so easy to follow and well put together. The seller was so kind and helped answer any questions I had. I’m so proud of the little bunny I made for my daughter!"

Arin made this teddy bear for her daughter. What a beautiful gift and you can already see how loved she is! She said "The instructions is really thorough, perfect for beginner in doll making like me. It also include hand stitching guide, which was really useful for me, since I didn't know a lot about hand stitching"

Adore this matching couple of teddies!

It has been incredible seeing all the dolls you have been making with my sewing patterns this month. Thank you all so much for taking the time to share your creations. It makes me so happy to see how much fun you are having making them. 

Seren couldn't believe how many photos there were to choose from this month and struggled to choose a favourite. She had about 10 on her list at one point! In the end, she chose this beautiful kitty made by Renata.

Congratulations to Renata! Seren said "I love her outfit. She looks so glamorous and cute!"

I will get in touch with Renata so she can choose her free pattern!
