Heart template

I've designed a template that you can use to add a heart motif or pocket to your doll's clothes. It's a cute way to transform an outfit into something special for Valentine's Day

The heart looks cute as a motif on the elephant shirt, dog dress/romper or cat dress. You can experiment with different textured fabrics to make it even more fun. I've used plush fabric for my shirt

The heart also looks sweet as a pocket on the bear overalls, dog dress or daisy dress

The heart template and instructions on how to attach it to clothes are available in the Studio Seren customer Facebook group. Go to the homepage of the group and look in the FILES section to find it. Everyone who orders my doll sewing patterns is invited to join the group. Valentines sew-along

The Valentines sew-along is running from now until Sunday 11 February. To join in share a photo of a Valentine-themed doll or a matching couple made using my sewing patterns. I'll be sharing everyone's photos in my Instagram stories and when the sew-along is finished my daughter Seren will be choosing some of her favourites to feature on my website. She'll also be choosing one person to win a free sewing pattern! 

You can share your photos by tagging me in a photo on Instagram, emailing it to patterns@studioseren.com or sharing it in the customer Facebook group
