My favourite thing about designing animal doll sewing patterns is seeing the dolls that you make with them! It is inspiring to see the fabrics that you choose and the little details that you include to personalise your dolls and make them your own. I love that even though they are made with the same sewing pattern, every doll looks completely unique!
Each month I have been collating all of the photos that you share of the dolls you have made using my patterns into a blog post. My daughter Seren, who is 11, then chooses her favourite photo to be crowned Maker of the Month and to win a free sewing pattern.
The number of photos being shared has grown each month which is incredibly inspiring, but it takes longer and longer to collate the blog posts. It takes days to resize, crop and tag the photos so they are website-friendly and compile them into a blog post. This month there were hundreds of photos so I've had to look at a new way of sharing them that is quicker and easier for me to manage...otherwise, I won't have time to make any more patterns!
Rather than share all the photos on my website, this month I have shared them in my Instagram stories instead. On my Instagram profile page, there are folders for each of the animal dolls where I have saved all of the photos so you can view them at any time. I encourage you to take a look, it is inspiring to see them all!
Seren has chosen a few of her favourite photos made with each animal sewing pattern that were shared during November, which I've shared below. Read on to find out what she said about them and find out which photo she chose as her Maker of the Month!

Seren had so many favourite dolls this month, but there was one photo that really caught her eye! She thought Cori's dalmatian couple were perfect together and chose Cori as her Maker of the Month for November!
Congratulations to Cori! Seren said "I love their spots and the fabrics. They look perfect together!"
I will get in touch with Cori so she can choose her free pattern!
It won't be long until the end of December so if you have made a doll with one of my sewing patterns don't forget to share it. Next month Seren will be choosing a Maker of the Month and her favourite Christmas-themed doll so I will be giving away two free patterns!

I try my hardest to include all the photos that are shared with me in my Instagram stories. If I've missed your photo please let me know and I will share it and make sure it is included the following month when Seren chooses her Maker of the Month. Please be aware that if the doll you have made infringes on another designer's copyright your photo will not be shared
I always publish a blog post to announce the winners of my Maker of the Month or Sew Alongs before I reach out to the winners personally. So, if you receive any messages claiming that you've won a prize from me, please check my website before responding. Sadly, some individuals create fake accounts and pretend to be businesses running prize draws, aiming to deceive followers into sharing personal and bank details. Please know that I would never ask you to provide personal information to claim your prize. If you have any doubts or concerns, please reach out to me at patterns@studioseren.com before responding to any messages
Thank you for taking the time to share your creations. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to see them! It inspires me to make more animal doll sewing patterns
Lots of love and happy sewing
