Make a cardigan with this easy knitting pattern for original 15" Studio Seren dolls. With this pattern you can make a short or long-sleeved cardigan, with or without pockets. The instructions include step-by-step photographs and detailed instructions

The cardigans in this pattern fit all original 15" Studio Seren animal dolls

This pattern is suitable for confident beginners. The pattern DOES NOT teach you how to knit. You need to be able to knit, purl, cast on and off and do simple increases and decreases as well as have experience reading knitting patterns. If you are new to knitting we recommend you start with our knitted accessories for beginners part one and part two patterns

WITH THIS PATTERN YOU CAN MAKE

  • Long-sleeve cardigan with four buttons and pockets
  • Short-sleeve cardigan with one button and pockets

The cardigan is knitted from the top-down, with the choice to knit it flat using two needles or knit it in the round using four needles

TO KNIT THIS PATTERN YOU WILL NEED

  • One 1.75oz (50g) ball of 4 ply yarn (fingering weight in the US) - a yarn conversion table is included with terminology from across the world
  • 3mm (US size 2 or 3) straight needles and 3mm (US size 2 or 3) double-pointed needles if you are knitting the sleeves in the round

Tension/gauge - 28 sts and 36 rows to a 4” (10cm) square in stocking stitch using 3mm (US size 2 or 3) needles

WHAT YOU GET

  • 23 pages of full-colour, step-by-step photos and detailed instructions that you digitally download as a PDF file so that you can start your project straight away
