Unicorn and horse sewing pattern

Make a unicorn or horse doll with this cute and easy PDF sewing pattern. Experience sewing cloth dolls or making stuffed animal toys is not necessary. It includes step-by-step photographs, detailed instructions and lots of tips from my years of doll making experience. As well as showing you what to do, I also include prompts to help you avoid common mistakes. With this sewing pattern, you can design your own unicorn doll or horse doll. You can sew or paint the unicorn doll’s face using templates for open or closed eyes. There are templates to make a mane in two lengths and a tail. You can choose to make a doll with plain arms and legs, or with hooves. There is an option to sew a star to the unicorn’s forehead or add a patch to the horse’s forehead   

It includes patterns to make a romper, a swing dress and a ruffled dress. You can choose from two types of ruffled collars for each of the doll clothes. The ruffled dress can be made from plain cotton or with a tulle overlay

The unicorn, romper and swing dress are suitable for confident beginners. If you have made a few of my other doll sewing patterns you should be able to make them. The ruffle dress is an intermediate-level sewing pattern. Whilst it doesn’t involve complex techniques, you do need to be comfortable sewing gathers and working with lightweight fabrics and tulle. If you’ve made my other sewing patterns that involve these elements, you should be able to make it.
